What would you do when you get to know that you probably got only a few hours left before you get hit by a missile? According to a Pornhub data, the answer is rather crystal clear, most especially for people in Hawaii, and that is to put their lives straight.

The data showed that following the false missile attack claim weeks ago that got almost all the people very terrified and even forced others to leave their homes in search for safe harbor, Hawaiians decided to get their lives in order by leaving porn. At least for that time.

It was found out that the consumption of pornography from the area dropped by as much as close to 80%. This, according to the massive pornographic site, is completely different from what it had obtained two previous Saturdays before the attack.

Interestingly, the Pornhub data showed that on that day, 13 January, at around at 8:07 am when people began getting the messages that a ballistic missile was on its way to the island, there was an instant and great drop in the site’s traffic. What was even more surprising was that by 8:23 am, the drop was headed towards an 80% drop as it had already reached -77%.

What makes the entire thing more interesting was that by 8:45 when a newer text messages began going round that the alarm was fake, people decided to get a sigh of relief by heading back again to release some tension on the site. Hence the drop in traffic began to normalize.

Less than 30 minutes after it was reported that they were not going to die, after all, Hawaiians delivered a report that was even more surprising by going back to the porn site massively. The traffic the site recorded that morning went as high as 48% higher than what it normally recorded on mornings like that.
